Insect swarm with two separate forms.
Complexity on the rulebook scale: High. That is a learning label, not a power rank.
Two-form hand planning
Bring seven cards for each form. This is one hand with form restrictions, not two independent hands for resting or losing cards to damage. Editorial recommendation: plan your next form's legal card pair before committing the current turn.
A swap icon does not change form if you perform none of that action's abilities. For precise-range attacks, a target must satisfy both the red pattern and the printed range band; ordinary range bonuses do not change that band.
Element conversion persistents cannot consume an element infused during that same turn. Newly infused elements become Strong during wrap-up, after your abilities finish. Plan an earlier source rather than assuming same-turn generation pays the cost.
- Persistent loss cards count towards the lost-card mastery even while they remain active.
- Locust Host (level 2, top) has an erroneous round-bonus symbol; the FAQ says to ignore it.
- For small parties, choose a role your current form can actually cover. Larger parties can help with positioning and elements, but do not remove your precise-range restrictions.
- Check item compatibility against precise ranges before paying for a range increase.
