Frosthaven rules

Board game: resolve tactical scenarios using two-card turns, then return for outpost progression unless a scenario link says otherwise. This is an original summary, not a replacement for the rulebook.
Scenario and campaign basics
During selection, choose two cards or declare a long rest. A normal turn uses one top action and one bottom action from different cards, in either order. The selected leading card determines initiative; actions can contain multiple abilities whose order matters.
You may use the default Attack 2 top or Move 2 bottom instead of the printed action. Resolve attacks using modifiers, then Shield and applicable damage conditions. Check icons and conditions rather than treating every symbol as an attack.
Infused elements become Strong only at the end of that figure's turn. They are shared resources, so agree consumption with allies. Summons use their own monster-style focus and movement rules; they are not freely steered like player characters.
A won or abandoned expedition normally leads to the five-step outpost phase: time, event, building operations, downtime and construction. Character retirement and crafting occur during downtime, not after every action or linked scenario.
