Crashing Tide guide
Updated
Board game: Crashing Tide is Coral or Anemone in the official FAQ. Its class mechanics are folded below.
How this class enters a campaign
Open the class box when instructed by your campaign. Retirement is not a universal class prerequisite. The unlock guide separates known rules from missing individual unlock data.
Builds
Editorial recommendation: plan the next rest alongside the current hand, and coordinate granted abilities with allies. Check item timing, movement and solo restrictions before treating a combination as repeatable.
Questions
Coral spoilers: when do tides end and infuse elements?
Active tides are discarded on any rest, not only when your hand is empty. Tide cards still in hand or lost stay there. An element printed on a tide is infused when the card is played, not every turn.
Coral spoilers: how do Rising Flood and granted movement work?
Rising Flood's bottom can perform its movement without a water tile to designate because the effects are joined by 'and', not a cost. Smashing Torrent can trigger on movement granted during another character's turn. Shuck contains separate move and attack abilities even though it is one action.
