Frozen Fist guide
Updated
Board game: Frozen Fist is Fist in the official FAQ. Class mechanics are folded below for players who have unlocked it.
How this class enters a campaign
Follow your campaign's class-box instruction. Retirement is not a universal class-unlock requirement. See the unlock guide for known rules and missing per-class prerequisites.
Builds
Editorial recommendation: check the route and the entire action before selecting terrain-related cards. Read item timing, movement rules and solo restrictions before assuming a movement or recovery combination works.
Questions
Fist spoilers: when do icy-terrain effects apply?
Sure Footing does not grant extra movement while jumping over ice, because Jump removes the normal icy effect that the perk replaces. An adjacent icy tile cannot be placed beneath the target unless a specific rule permits it. Modifier-created ice may still be placed if the attack kills the target.
Fist spoilers: how do Frost Eruption and One with the Mountain work?
Frost Eruption cannot skip its attack and still create terrain and infuse Ice: effects referencing the attack pattern require that attack. With One with the Mountain active, Regenerate is regained immediately whenever lost. Editorial recommendation: evaluate these actual triggers before planning the opening, rather than treating the effects as unconditional.
